By the way...

the pro ano communities
lead me to practicing anorexics
who,
stupidly,
drink bottles of vodka at parties

it's empty calories and it comes from potatoes.
i don't know what i hate more: self-destruction, or half-assed self-destruction.

i can at least respect a martyr, even a martyr to an inane cause.

though, i would think that an anorexic person wouldnt be able to handle much alcohol at all.

The trick is to drink it all before your stomach begins to revolt against you, screaming "viva la revolution!" in a heavy French accent.

Hahahaha... i just wonder where that mutinous line is. It cant be too far. I imagine axorexics get drunk easily, though.

I know a guy who's flirting with anorexia. When we drink, he's able to take a few strong shots and nurse a mixed drink or two after that before he starts to get slushy. He's not full-on anorexic, though.. In fact, I think his tendency to puke all his food up after eating is caused by a physical ailment of some kind.. He does have an irrational fear of gaining weight.. It's hard to tell.

And I think I shared too much.. O.o

ooh, "a friend", eh? yeah, i've had "friends" who've flirted with anorexia.... but it was more like they were too busy with school and dealing with shit in their lives... then they realized they hadnt eaten in 3 days. they were proud of that fact, though..... sad that they wish they could do that again, and on a regular basis.

and now i've said too much.

Whoops, I think I meant bulimic in my above post, not anorexic. I can never remember which is which.

well, anorexic people usually practice bulimia... and bulimic people usually dabble in anorexia. but yeah, they're separate things.

Bwaaah.

I forgot to eat today and almost passed out in front of IHOP. I don't like feeling weak and no-blood-sugary. So I don't think I'll be looking back on this week with a glow of pride. o_0

Although-- and hit me-- I was happy today when someone commented that I looked "tiny," and asked me if I was eating enough.

is it sad that we view that as a compliment? strangely, i'd love it if someone came up to me and said: "are you ill? you look too thin. perhaps you should try eating" ...... and that cant possibly be a good thing.

I know. What the fuck. I always think, "Oh God, that's so wrong." But what is that, anyway? It's like... a sick validation? An excuse, perhaps, for other shortcomings? "I can't help it, I'm frail?"

None of which apply to me.... Yes, it's sad.
